Introduction
This site explores my interests
in all kinds of subjects —
literature
(especially Shakespeare),
music
(blues),
politics,
cultures,
religions,
science,
etc. I am a librarian,
one of the few careers in which being a
generalist actually helps. My professional interest is in
organizing information — whether
printed or electronic,
in libraries
or on the Internet —
and finding better ways to make it
available to people
I became a librarian because I was interested in
almost everything, and librarianship lets you put anything you learn
to use. Because I am interested in so many different subjects, I've
made Web pages to help me keep track of the useful links I have
discovered in these subjects. (I found out early on that bookmark
files just wouldn't do!) If you're a
librarian, or you can't live without
reading, or you're curious about
everything, you'll find something here to
interest you
